Color: Brown		 APPLICATIONS
  • BEST DISC FOR: General purpose grinding, deburring, and blending on ferrous metals.
  • Our most popular type disc.
  • Ideal for flat or contour surfaces.
  • Most commonly used are grits 36-50 for weld removal. Grits 60-'120 for removal of imperfections and blending.

2-Ply Discs
Color: Brown		 APPLICATIONS
  • BEST DISC FOR: General purpose grinding and deburring, when greater edge durability is required.
  • For use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Highest initial rate of cut of all A/0 discs.
  • Longest sustained rate of cut of all A/0 discs.
  • Ideal for prolonged edge work.

Color: Light Brown		 APPLICATIONS
  • BEST DISC FOR: Difficult to grind metals such as aircraft grade Aluminum, High Nickel, Chrome Alloys, and heat-sensitive metals. Provides lower heat generation than regular Aluminum Oxide on ferrous metals.
  • Ideal for flat or contoured surfaces.
  • Most commonly used are grits 36-50 for more demanding applications. Grits 60-120 for removal of imperfections and blending.

  • BEST DISC FOR: Rapid stock removal on Stainless Steel. Utilizes a Y weight cloth backing, with a fused Zirconium grain and lubricated super-size coating.
  • Best performance when medium to heavy pressure is applied.
  • Cool running for extended stock removal and surface blending.

    discoloration on heat-sensitive materials.
  • Highest fracture toughness of all grains. Heavy pressure required.
